I was traveling north on Route 25 one day in late July, and noticed that a new yoga studio had just opened. Having never taken formal yoga classes before, I decided to stop in and check it out. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the sense of warmth and welcome I received - not only from the beautiful studio itself, but by the two people inside (Vince and Marianne).
I took my first class in August of this year, and have been hooked ever since! The instructors have an innate sense of each practitioner’s level of experience; then adjust the class to meet their individual needs. They also offer a variety of different types of classes each week (Hatha Flow, Yoga Sculpting, etc.) so if I'm in the mood to take a more laid back, meditative class, or even partake in something that challenges me a bit, I know I'll get just what I'm looking for.
But the most important thing to me about My Yoga Place is how my practice goes far beyond the physical experience of yoga. Vince and Marianne have taught me that I can take my sense of peace and well-being off the mat, and then apply it to my everyday life. Through their commitment to excellence and superb instruction, I have been guided toward a calmer, more relaxed state of mind, which then allows me to better deal with every aspect of my extremely stressful life!
Thank you for being there for me at a time when I needed you most. Thank you for improving my life in ways far beyond measure. Thank you for being my friend...
