They are very understanding and compassionate, and always make sure their extremely careful with my joints during an exam. I'm never in any pain during my appointments. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment at all. They called me back to see the doctor within ten minutes. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional.

I was desperate when I read an article about Dr. Hernandez, but I knew I needed to make a change! I had been under the care of the same Rheumatologist for the past 5 years and my symptoms and condition were only getting worse. The article sounded too good to be true but what did I have to lose! Dr. Hernandez sounded just like what I was looking for in a Rheumatologist. I called their office the very next day. It took a little while to get in for my first appointment (If I remember correctly, 1-2 weeks), but the care I received was well worth the wait! After the first appointment I was an established patient and I was able to make appointments that were accommodating to my schedule. The office and staff are easy to reach in emergency situations and always address my medical needs. I feel at ease knowing that I can depend on Dr. Hernandez and his staff to always be there for me when certain medical emergencies arise. They are extremely friendly and try their best to give me my chosen appointment times. From the very first time I stepped into Dr. Hernandez office, he and his staff went out of their way to help me feel at ease and I knew that they were listening to what I had to say. I never felt rushed and they were very sympathetic to my situation. I had been to several Rheumatologist before I became a patient of Dr. Hernandez. These doctors were supposedly the best in their field in the Houston and Sugar Land areas, but I felt they never took the time to know me individually as a patient or listened to my medical needs. I usually had to wait several hours before seeing one doctor and she had to review my chart as I stood in front of her because she could not remember anything about my medical history. The other Rheumatologist saw me one time before passing me on to her physicians assistant. I went to this specialist for her expertise, hoping she could control my chronic and deteriorating condition only to learn that I would not be cared for by her. I never felt any relief longer than a week or two and thought I would never live a normal life again. I was under her care for about 5 years and thought, if this is the best it gets, where do I go from here? I was looking through a local magazine and saw an article about Dr. Hernandez and thought what do I have to lose! Since I have been under the care of Dr. Edward Hernandez my condition and symptoms continue to improve. This is the first time in 7 years that I have actually felt relief from the pain of the Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have hope again. I am finally waking up in the morning feeling like a normal human being ready to live and enjoy my life. Each time I have an appointment with Dr. Hernandez he is who I see and he is the one treating my RA. He is always empathetic and listens to everything I have to say and treats my RA accordingly. If the treatment protocol is not providing me with relief he adjusts it according to my individual medical needs. I am always comfortable in the waiting room but I never have to wait longer than 10 minutes! The office appearance is nice, well organized and taken care of but I am a patient of Dr. Edward Hernandez for his medical care and expertise not to critique the appearance of his office. I feel blessed and am so grateful for Dr. Hernandez, he has changed my life! I am once again enjoying the time I spend with my family and cherishing every little moment!
