I drive 30 miles from Brainerd to the Staples Clinic for my pets, despite many other veterinarians that are closer. Three reasons: They're exceptionally good with the animals. They're exceptionally good with people (I've had to have a few older dogs put down). And their prices are the best in the area.

As a rural area with many lower-income (i.e. me and many farmers) families, they do their best to be affordable and compassionate while extremely professional.

Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they are extremely reliable.

They have an area for pets to go to the bathroom here, which is extremely convenient.

Many of my family's pets have been taken there over the years, and they have always been great with the animals and 'us humans.' They work with the customers to be affordable, which is a great bonus.

They are very trustworthy and have caught mistakes that other vets have made, which has saved my pets life before when she was very sick.

Over all, it's a great vet clinic, totally worth the drive.
