When I took my (stressed out) cat in and pulled him out of his carrier in the exam room he was still quite flighty. When the Dr came in and started petting him he immediately began purring and continued to be calm (and purr!) through the entire visit . They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else.
