We want to thank Shadia and all of the kindred staff who came in contact with our son Max over the past year and more. He received excellent care from all of you. He was on the first floor the longest but spent time on two and three as well. Our dear son Max passed away Sunday afternoon at Swedish covenant Hospital. He has been very very sick for a long time and have been getting weaker and weaker. In spite of this, he was planning on seeing his doctors Monday and try to talk them into more surgery. My mother’s primary care physician strongly referred us to Kindred North for her clinical care because of the in-house dialysis and high acuity unit; which is a major factor, considering her age and delicate condition. I did not have to worry about her being transported out 3 times a week in the unpredictable weather conditions. The whole team has been great with taking care of my mother’s needs. Both Dr. Ali and Kasia, our case manager, have been diligent in managing her care and keeping the family well informed. The nurse Doreene on HAU helped relieve both myself and my wife’s stress by reassuring us that my mother’s condition was stable and seeing a steady improvement. Thank you wound care for doing a great job and staying on top of her treatments. Special kudos to Kindred North’s therapy team. They are doing a phenomenal job. Its means a lot to me to know that my mother is receiving the best of care as she would at home. We really do appreciate everyone’s hard work and a raise is definitely warranted.

My mother's stay at Kindred North was made exceptional excluively due to our case manager, Laura Kaufman. From admission, through the financial process, to the planning of discharge, Laura was on top of everything. All of my concerns regarding the care for my mother were addressed with timely responses, promptness, professionalism and compassion. I can say after having gone thru similar situtations with other family members and dealing with case managers, Laura is, by far, one of the best in her field. She sets the standards that all case management should go by when orchestrating the best care for their patients.

My care at Kindred North was perfect. My therapy team were perfect and fun to be around. My physician, Kevin Runge, would always take the time to chat with me and ask how I was doing. THe 2nd floor staff are so kind and genuinely care. Connie, Clara and Barbara are 'the bomb'. No one can make a bed like Clara. Connie and Barbara goes above and beyond. They all need raises. They are like Big Sisters and treated me like I was their family. They talk TO you, not down at you. They are great. I can be at the end of the hall and they would find me to ask if I needed anything. They are great. Connie encouraged me that I could do anything, that everything is possible. They would check on me everyday even if I wasnt assigned to them. One day, a gentleman CNA said, in passing, that his cell phone was dead so I loaned him my charger to use. He was really thankful from a simple gesture, but I was happy to do something for one of the staff. The therapy team were amazing. Jeanette is 'the bomb' and would bring me the Red Eye paper and keep me up to date on current events. Irish was kind and friendly. Eddie is "my boy"! My case manager, Jequese, helpled me get into a weight management program. I plan on coming back up to Kindred to show everyone my leaner and healthier self. Housekeeping ladies were friendly and non-intrusive. They were all so encouraging despite my large size. Your staff is "doing it right"! They made it a pleasure to be there. It was awesome. The CEO should feel good and lucky to have such an outstanding staff on the 2nd floor.

I was well taken care of by everyone. The nursing staff and CNA's did a wonderful job. Kasia was very helpful. My patient advocate, Tina, helped me with keeping in touch with my family. I really liked there and would recommend anyone to Kindred North.

I really miss Kindred since being here at the nursing home. They are like an extended family that still reaches out to check up on me, Colette, Bonnie and my big sister,Tina. Absolutely EVERYONE showed me love and kindness. The doctors, nurses, cna's, technicians, therapy teams, housekeeping, case manager. I miss my nurse, Daniel. I especially miss my therapy team, (Eddie, Joe, Melissa and Alex) I miss you all.

My stay here was very pleasant I do not have any issues at all your entire staff on 3 east made me feel very comfortable and were very caring. This individuals were amazing, Kevin,Gina,Natalia CNA's were great people did a wonderful job. Nurse Mercedes was sweet and very caring. I really had a great experience. #3 East staff they rock. The food was very good too. I would give you more stars if I could. The whole entire Rehab And Wound Care team did a marvelous Job thank you all for taking good care of me and showing me feel like family. Mr. D Anderson
