I have heard Dr. Kensik described as "quarky"; perhaps, but then you're not here for her pesonality, are you? So don't let any "quarkiness" fool you. She is a very knowledgeable and caring vet. I will always take my cat to her! She will explain ailments, treatments, and options with you in detail. She can explain it in a way that the common person (non-vet) can understand. She will not try to pull the wool over your eyes, or try to charge you for unnecessary, high priced options. She will take the simpliest, direct route possible to treat your pet. She will try options that other vet's will not. She has saved my cat's life, when other vets charged me $500 to do nothing. Dr. Kensik is clearly an animal person, and is devoted to her craft. She will always get my business!

It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. providing food and They'll get it for you . I am owner of 7 cats, Dr. Kensik has gone out of her way to save at least 2 with her knowledge of what should be done or is willing to listen to experts on what do, being a southern girl it was hard to get use to her New York ways, I must admit I sometimes have a hard time with her manners towards the owner because she makes it clear she is there for her patient not you, she will do anything in the best interest of the animal, she is an animal vet not a person's vet once you get over yourself, she is the best, she understands finances for you,,she explains in real English , slowly not medical, she is not flashy, she cares and shows that she cares about YOUR Animal. I would not go to anyone else nor trust anyone else with my cats, I recommend her, she is worth waiting for if you love your animals the way she does. The perfect Vet in my mind.

I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. They don't always adhere to the customer is always right policy here -- which is a good thing for a vet, because if I'm wrong, I WANT MY VET TO TELL ME! I'd rather be told I'm wrong than to do something, however well-intentioned, that would harm one of my dogs. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. Dr. Kensek may not have the best people skills in the world, but she is possibly the most dedicated veterinarian I've met in 35 years of being a dog owner. Everything she does, she does for the comfort, health, and safety of her furry patients.

No, they were very calm and understanding

Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care

Yes, I think I could have gotten better service elsewhere

Not at all, they were glad to help me with anything I needed
