We took our cat in for a cold. They were very caring and the vet was extrememly gentle with her - however, the antibiotic was $38.99 and it sells for $24.00 online. Also, they prescribed some nose drops at $48.99 and I really feel those were unnecessary. They also wanted to do an additional $200+ of testing - chest Xray and lab. They do not allow payments on anything under $500. When our other cat had a cold, we did not ask in advance about extra charges - it was close to $400 when our visit was over. They recommended chest Xray and lab for her as well - for a cold....I was told the antibiotic was mixed and ready for use but it was given to me unmixed and when I called to request instructions on mixing, the young woman argued with me and stated she had mixed it...we will go elsewhere although I really did like the vet and the people at the front desk.
