Dr. Burns has treated our animals for many, many years. With her knowledge and experience our animals have always had the very best of care by her and her staff.
Dr. Burns makes sure every single question I had is answered, and is always available if I think of any more questions I need answered. The staff is very friendly and professional. We wouldn't think of taking our animals to anyone else !! Dr.Burns is not only a caring, compassionate person, she also passes on her knowledge by educating the pet owners on their animals and what their animals will need for a healthy life. I admire Dr. Burns for her calm and assertive manner. Her communication is clear and concise. When I need advice about my pet, I know I can count on her to be honest and thorough. I have referred many family members and friends to the Beltway Animal Hospital for many years, and will continue to do so.

I have used Dr. Burns for my animals for years. She can be gruff, but always puts your animals needs first and discusses options with you.

You have a choice. Do you want a Dr, that is going to kiss your butt, or one that knows what they are doing. I wasn't brushing my dog's teeth properly and she warned me about that, and showed me the best way. My older dog has cancer and she discussed the options with me candidly, while gently breaking the final outcome.

She is knowledgeable, old school, and inexpensive compared to other vets I have been to when I lived in a different part of town.

Her staff are younger high school and college age kids so don't expect to be waited on hand and foot.

Do you want: A: the best care for your pet or B: do you want Burger King "your way right away"? Your choice.

If you chose A, go see Dr. Burns. If you chose B, then it was more about you than your animal's health.
