Larry McMillan has cared for many of the Donald Babeon's dogs and Dennis Hull's cat for many years. He has always provided excellent care and shown great compassion for the dogs and the cat.

Great Vet and staff. Very knowledgable in all they do. Great with the animals, and very kind and considerate to the owner. Isn't out to break your bank. Wouldn't go to another vet. I know my animals are always in good hands with Dr. McMillan and his staff. Highly recommend this Vet hospital.

To poster "Lets Euthanase You"

So you're a hater. You could at least know that Euthanase is not a word. I've been a client of Dr. McMillans for around 26 years. I do know some facts. Here they are.

1. Animals are NOT euthanized every day.
2. FLVH does NOT profit from city fees. Those cover feeding, walking, cleaning kennels and other care.
3. Dr. McMillan works with the city to provide shelter for dogs at large to keep them off of the street and in a safe place.
4. Dr. McMillan, his staff and a network of people throughout the community work diligently to foster and/or place adoptable pets.
5. He does not threaten people that they cannot get their animal out of the hospital. He instructs them HOW to go about it. Owners are REQUIRED TO VISIT THE CITY AND PAY THEIR FINES before they can get their pet. Owners must also prove their pet has a current rabies shot. If not, he is required BY THE CITY to give one. The owner must pay this fee to the Hospital.
6. The comments you've made are factually incorrect and defamatory in nature.
7. You are spinless to hide behind the curtain of the web. If you have these convictions, you should address the city and learn about protocol along with their work to locate owners.
8. Your name calling is defamation of character, which is illegal.
9. I suggest you learn some basics about grammar and fact checking before posting such a hateful, disgusting comment.

Dr Mac has been our vet for 26 years, first working on my show horses then our small animals as well. We've had some scary stuff as well as the mundane, and he handles both with the appropriate level of care. The guy knows his stuff and if you listen, you'll get great direction. As a long-term client, I've never been turned away because his schedule was 'booked' and I've never had an emergency he didn't personally take care of - even if it was three in the morning.
