I really liked they took the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits clearly. They made sure that I understood everything before I started treatment. I've already started recommending them to people I know. They did such a great job. I was able to talk freely during my appointment without worrying about being judged or criticized. They were very supportive and understanding. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office.

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Vondran. I am glad that I switched to her. I have a one-and-a-half hour drive to get to her office, but it has been worth it. My previous doctor never ran a single test on me before putting me on heavy duty meds. I was treated with several different meds, all with bad results, but that doctor never entertained re-evaluating my diagnosis. Instead, I was essentially told that I was lying about the side effects, and that I would not be getting new prescriptions for my problem. That's when I switched. During my first appointment, Dr. Vondran spent more time discussing my symptoms and history with me than my last doctor had in all of my visits combined. She explained her interpretation of my symptoms and ordered comprehensive testing. At my second visit she went over my results, gave me a printed copy, and gave me a written treatment plan. I have been using my new treatments (completely different from my previous diagnosis and treatment) for 10 days, and I haven't felt this good in years. The change was immediate! Everyone has noticed the change in my behavior, mood and energy.

I have already recommended her to others.

This visit was for my 16 year old daughter. I wish they gave me good advice, but most of the time they only give me advice that would benefit them. They should have looked into her medical background before they recommended a treatment plan. They didn't know or care about it at all. They never left us for an extended period of time, but I felt we were ignored by the end of the sessions. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. J. Vondran prescribed invega 6mg (an antipsychotic) which gave my daughter adverse side affects that required emergency treatment. This medication cost 500.00+ dollars which my insurance didn't cover. Then the doctor wanted us to pick up a couple of supplements ($92) at her home, which I thought didn't make sense, but went anyway because I wanted to get my daughter the help she needed--BIG MISTAKE on my part. I would not recommend this quack psychiatrist to anyone. She is just after money, and could care less about a patient's well-being. My daughter is now under the care of another psychiatrist I trust and fell comfortable with. My daughter is doing much better, of course with more appropriate medications and therapy.
