When visiting a relative who is a patient I asked to speak with his case manager and after a long wait I was able to. Fair enough because they didn't know I was coming. They did not take personal calls during my appointment. They listened to me, but I was not able to influence their actions. They didn't display their qualifications but I didn't enter an office. The staff seems to know what they're doing. They're able to answer most of my questions, however not questions that related to problems concerning anything that went against standard operating procedure. There is an ongoing dispute with the facility regarding guardianship and my relative, a patient, was moved from the "nice" facility to a very unpleasant location when we disputed an issue concerning his guardianship. The staff then decided to withhold medical treatment until a family member assumed guardianship over the patient. A recent Saturday visit found him sleeping with his head on a table and urine dripping from the bottom of his wheelchair. He no longer had a TV in his sleeping area and was very hungry however there was no food to be had at that time. If I were an attorney I'd sue.
