The worst ER I've ever been to. The only smiling face I encountered was the registration staff. The doctor was rude and she made it a point to talk to me as if I was a child. The nurse was so busy laughing with her co-workers she did not respond to my calls. It is the only hospital in Portsmouth and it the only one can get to without a car. They need to learn how to treat the patients with respect.

They made no attempt to follow up with me after my ER visit. . It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. The staff is incredibly rude and seem to care more about themselves. the ER rooms were disgusting.. I was scared I was going to catch something from being in there.. Every time I've called and left a message, I've never heard back. It's extremely annoying. I felt very rushed. I had EXTREME pain and all they did was pump me full of morphine and sent me home. Not only that but when they were getting me ready to leave they yanked my IV OUT so hard I was bleeding. I will never ever return to this hospital. This place is disgusting.

Absolutely not! My phone calls aren't returned at all!

Definitely, they seemed irritated to work with anyone
