You all are the breathing specialists. Thanks for your help. One of your nurses aides, Eddie (don't know his last name), was very nice to this old lady. He was prompt and very professional and made me feel like I was important. Thank him for me. Sadly, at my age (85), I may be back someday! If that happens, I know you will take good care of me.
I spent 20 days at Kindred Hospital and I was satisfied with the nursing staff, aids and cna's. The food was excellent, in fact, it was the best hospital food I have had compared to two other hospitals I have stayed. The biggest fault I found with my stay at Kindred was the way they dealt with the feces from bed ridden patients. They would gather the feces in the chuck and then throw it in the garbage can right in the room. The can has no lid. They are putting two beds in a room built for one bed so my bed was only a yard and half from the can. It was awful!!! I had to complain to the nurses a few times to get the garbage bag taken out and emptied. Kindred needs to immediately impose a plan for this issue.
