The reason I am giving only 2.5 stars is because I had a bad experience with the dr and not with the actual clinic. I wonder if I was given an appointment with another psychiatrist if things would have been better but my experience in the last year was disappointing. I met with Dr. Anthony. While meeting with her did reveal to me that I needed to find and work with a psychologist for behavioral therapy, I expected I would receive some guidance from a psychiatrist too. Unfortunately, every time I met with Dr. Anthony I felt like she never really listened to me. I never saw her take notes either. She always acted surprised when I told her about the two traumatic events that I had already spoken about in prior meetings. These traumatic events were the reason I needed help, and she always was shocked when I brought them up, acting like she had never heard I had gone through these situations. It was clear to me she never read my file before our meetings and was only reading the file while we talked. Our meetings also only lasted 5 minutes or less, just so she could prescribe me more medication. I am sure other people might work better with her, but for me this was not helpful other than leading me to my psychologist that I have a great relationship with. I'm going back to just having my PCP to prescribe my medication now. I'm not paying for an hour session that only lasts 3 minutes...

Received a collection notice because they failed to let me know at any of my visits I owed money. I always paid my co-pay at my appointments! When I called she had no explanation for why I was sent to collections instead of being sent a bill, given a phone call or asked to pay it at my visits.

I am a Former patient of Janlyn Anthony,NP. As a African-American we already deal with the stigma of treating mental illness as a taboo and to have a African-American, NP to treat my concerns as trivial as well as with lack of compassion was hurtful and unprofessional. Then to add insult to injury the Receptionist is extremely rude over the phone and worse in person but the Front Desk is usually a Representative of the Office so why should she be anything other than rude. On a scale of (1-10) I'd rate this Practice a (-1)

This practice is HORRIBLE!! The receptionist read out loud my medical records while a line of people stood behind me! The doctor didnt want to hear what you needed to say; she said what she had to stay and hurried along as if I was bothering her!
Don't waste your if you are looking for effective treatment!

This practice has to be, hands down, the worst group that I have ever seen. Not only did I have to wait 45 minutes for my appointment, but the person I saw began to make rash profiles based on a handful of information I had given and then began changing my medicine before knowing why I was taking them in the first place. Go somewhere that cares, this isn't it.

I do not know the receptionist name but she is awful! Very unkind, which baffles me because people come here for treatment of mental illnesses! My appointment was with Janlyn, which was very uncomfortable and impersonal. STAY AWAY! I left feeling worse!

Insight Physicians has an employee by the name of Leah, when trying to make an apt this is who you may receive a return call from, however, she is the rudest person and if Insight Physicians has this type of person as the first impression of their company then they should be out of business. I can't speak for the doctors here as I will not be making an appointment with them because I will NOT have someone like Leah disrespect me when I am hiring them and my insurance company will be paying them.

The front desk :lady: is very rude. The NP I had was unprofessional, rude and not :psychiatric savy" She basically just fills prescriptions that my other doctor wrote me before he left this practice, Dr. Vozza is an excellent doctor and will be missed as he is now retired,. Now I am looking for another doctor.
