This therapist talked about his religion repeatedly throughout the session. He told personal stories about his son and his role as a father, neither of which had anything to do with the pressing issues that needed attention. He burped throughout the session while explaining that he was "so busy" so had to grab food between appointments. It made me feel that clients were on a conveyor belt and he was "proud" of his bookings at the expense of helping clients. There was no sense of direction or plan in the therapy. It seemed more like a casual chat over "hot chocolate" rather than a concerted effort to help a client either address problems or identify them. I was sadly and horribly disappointed. Sometimes, I have to persuade him that I have an important concern that needs their attention. There have been times that they've paid attention to my concerns, but not many. He is the worst psychologist I've ever seen.He was kind of friendly, but I wasn't very impressed.
