I'm quite surprised to read the negative reviews and have to wonder if they are thinking about a clinic other than Dr Randall Spencer's. I trusted him with my precious dog's life for 12 years and feel there is none more competent and compassionate. In all this time I can't think of one negative experience. Everyone there is knowledgeable, helpful and caring. I can call any time and speak with Lillian who usually knows the answer, but if not she always gets it for me promptly. I can't address the issue of Dr. Flanagan's personality but in my limited experience with her I feel that she is competent. I do know that Dr. McDermott is now my second favorite vet based on an emergency event on a Sunday night. I can afford the very best care for my animals, large and small and this is what I receive from Dr. Spencer and his associates. If anyone has had what they consider a bad experience they should try again. Not to do so deprives your animals of the very best care.

This is the best Vet's office we have been to in a long time. The girls are always very nice. I would never expect them to remember my name because I usually only see them once or twice a year, really I don't think my Gyno remembers my name but I still have confidence she knows her business. The prices at this office is the very best around and we have used some in Longview and I can tell you Dr Spencer is a lot more reasonable and not to talk about the emergency care you get from Dr. Spencer, have you tried getting somebody in Longview on the weekends or holidays??? The emergency care in Longview will not even look at your animal until they see a $100 bill, this is not the case with this office. I can only say in our situation this office is GREAT!!

These folks have always done right by both me and my animals.
I have been using them for approx 6 years without any problems.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Remembering clients by name is not a very big concern for the staff here because every time I come in for an appointment I constantly have to remind them who I am. It would be nice to be recognized at least once is all I'm saying. Their parking situation was very frustrating. I ended up looking around for a spot for a very long time. It was difficult to find parking at their office. I had to look for a while and was almost late for my appointment. I wasn't confident that they would take good care of my pet. I didn't think that they knew what they were doing. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works. Brandy, the front receptionist, is territorial and bitchy at other staff members' expense, and she also fires a constant stream of questions at customers while barely letting them answer. She's too aggressive. Dr. Flannagan has a superiority complex and wreaks of condescension. She doesn't care about anything except her paycheck.

The female vet's attitude sucks, and even after being confronted about having a poor bedside manner, she doesn't respond with a "You're welcome" after the customer says "thank you" 2 times. This has happened 2 different times of saying "thank you" 2 times. She comes off as cold and sociopathic.

I was very unimpressed with their level of skill. It seemed like they had just started yesterday. I usually just go to someone else in the area because I can't count on them ever. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. The magazines in their waiting room were so boring. It made my time in the waiting room drag. None of the people that work there have a bedside manner or a soul besides one receptionist who's name starts with an L.
