Our dog Frankie has been sick and was having bad seizures over the past 3 months. Last Friday, he had a severe exacerbation and had to stay at the veterinarian's office for 6 days because the seizures became worse than ever and he was not coming out of them. Frankie was basically in a comatose state for 2 days after they controlled them and was unable to stand and function after his eyes opened. On Frankie's 5th day, we were going to put him down because he was significantly impaired and recovery appeared unlikely. Our veterinarian, Scott Stekler (shown in picture), remained positive and worked tirelessly to help him even though the future looked dim. On the morning of Frank's 6th day, we were all under the impression that Frankie was going to be put down. Instead, we received a call from the Dr. Stekler saying Frankie had miraculously started standing and moving around. Instead of going to the office to say goodbye, we were going to bring him back home. When Frankie came home, Lou was absolutely ecstatic to see him. Frankie is still recovering now, but is doing better, and we have no idea what to expect from here on out. The vet is still stumped as to what exactly happened, but can only formulate hypothesis' at this time and the prognosis is questionable. I would like to genuinely thank Scott Stekler and his staff from Glen Rock for their hard work and the passion they have for what they do.

I've never had to remind them who I am or what my pet's condition is, they remembered both of our names by the second appointment. They go out of their way to make us feel special and welcomed. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They are always very reasonable with their charges. There waiting room is warm and cozy, not clinical and has a calming affect on my dogs. I recommend them highly.
