I go to Dr. Ames for more than just chiropractic care. She is the only doctor I go to, and I am healthier than anyone I know... no antibiotics for over 12 years.

I called in around Nov 2011, made my first appointment with the Dr everyone says is SO great! I had to reschedule my first ever appointment, I called, moved my appointment, then a week later I had to reschedule my reschedued appointment, I called and rescheduled. Then the day came when I was suppose to have my appointment and I ended up with the flu roughly 2 hours before my appointment. I was NOT about to go to the office feeling like I did and with all of the stuff coming out of my body so I called the office expecting them to be understanding since I had previously called to reschedule and to my surprise the front office staff was RUDE! She told me it would be a $75 cancellation fee! Yes you read that right, $75 first offender and because I had the flu. Needless to say, they lost my business before I even walked in the door. And my advice to people wanting to visit her office, don't EVER cancel - I mean, don't die either because your family will be charged for you not showing!
Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. Their prices were not fair at all. They were extremely overpriced and I felt ripped off.
