I have never been to a more compassionate and caring animal hospital. This hospital and its staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND in the care they gave my pets and the compassion and understanding they showed me, during a very difficult and stressful time. I walked in with a one deceased pet and one critically injured pet. When something so tragic happens, you are so distraught and confused you can't even think straight. In these financially difficult times, these wonderful people where not just interested in the cost but made it clear that my pet needed to be treated FIRST and we would go over the payment after. Unlike Mesa animal hospital that asked for $367.00 upfront and because I couldn't come up with the money in the first 10 minutes, they handed me back my deceased pet and my injured pet. May I add that my injured pet was in shock and severely injured, Mesa's vet said a few staples and a pain shot and she could go home.. She was at Ark for 3 days with drainage tubes, IV fluids, and pain meds. My cost at Ark was just double of what Mesa was charging for their visit, staples to close a wound, and creamation of my other pet. ARK also made the arrangements to have my other pet cremated, that was also included in the cost, and again they did a WONDERFUL job. They are the TRUE meaning of what vets and a vet hospital should be. I can't be more grateful to them.

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to.

I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated, and put my dog first before paperwork, which says a lot about how they care for animals. have some of the best pricing I have ever seen. It's under what other veterinarians in the area charge, so needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. They were right there for myself and my pet during an emergency, on a Sunday ! Thank you Ark Animal Hospital !
