I've been a patient of Dr. Romero for over five years now. I actually just returned from his office an hour ago and I feel should give an honest and accurate review of my visit. First off, I went for Juvederm ultra plus for nasolabial, marionette lines and for Botox for my forehead and around the eyes. I should also mention this is a morning after a snowstorm with icy roads and traffic that was at a crawl...not much would get me out and about this early, except a visit to The Romero Clinic! Dr. Romero is perhaps the most considerate, kind and caring doctor I've ever met. I've seen this doctor on his busiest days, and the days that were a little slower and he still takes the time for a little consult and a little catching up no matter how busy he is. I've seen him do it with most of his patients, he truly does have an excellent bedside manner as they say. I've never said this before but for a doctors office the whole staff is grace under pressure.
I should know, because I work in a doctors office and sometimes I find it it to be very overwhelming to deal with a high volume of patients! I keep coming back to Dr. Romero because of his gentle technique and his honest opinions on what is best for my needs. For example I wanted Juvederm injected for the hollows of my eyes, He said it wouldn't be right for my skin type because there might be pearlization showing with my translucent skin tone.I trusted him and I did not get it. When he was filling out my nasolabial and marionette lines, we were still talking because I did not feel the needle. I even commented how remarkable that was. I usually get my lips injected with Juvéderm there however today I didn't as I got them done in December and they still look great.
As a professional working in a doctors office, I have to reiterate this is not like a typical doctors office. While the staff is very professional, they seem to treat everybody as if they were old friends. Even if you are a new patient they still give you a warm greeting and a friendly welcoming smile. Trust me, that is not very common when I go to other doctors. That is why they will never get a good review from me.
As for the pricing and value of The Romero Clinic and the services, they are outstanding. They offer really good numbing cream when you get your injections. The needles feel like nothing with the cream. I recommend getting there a little earlier to take advantage of this. They also offer vi peels which will leave your skin glowing in a matter of 5 days, and the best eyelash extensions around. I'm a big fan of them. I get so many comments on how great they look. They also carry a great selection of Skinmedica Products that are below retail price!
Another great point that I would like to share and that I feel so reassured with is that Dr. Romero always mixes his Botox right in front of you so you know you're getting the real thing. He also shows you the Juvederm boxes to let you know it's real and fresh and not counterfeit. I like that.
If you're looking for great value freezer and filler this is definitely the place
for you.
