This hospital is bright and cheery. The staff seem to really enjoy being here--that it's more than a job to them. The food was good and the rooms are comfortable with nice views. I can't believe they don't advertise -every bed should be filled! The atmosphere is cheerful and the parking is free. The nursing assistants have all been wonderful but Theresa really shines. Theresa is hard working and thorough. The nurses have all been good. The ones that really stick out to me are Sabrina, Yvette and Mary. I love Dr. Kaul, he is pleasant and friendly. The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that administration, the CCO, CEO would answer my call light if they were walking by. You don't see that just anywhere. They do not find it beneath themselves to get you a warm blanket or help you with something. I was most impressed with that. I would highly recommend this Kindred.

Everybody here is so nice they treat you like you're human and not a number. This is truly a wonderful place to come to. I think they are the best.

I received very good care here. I was treated like a king. I almost hate to go home. I will miss the patient advocate and my nurses. So many caring and smiling faces.

As I sit and write this review, I feel saddened by the fact that my husband, Larry, will soon be discharged from Kindred, a place that he and I felt safe and well cared for, for the past three months. When Larry first arrived at Kindred, we really didn't know if he would survive all the health issues he had, there were many to overcome, but within 3 days of being there, there was a plan put in place for his care and my concerns for his quality of care were finally being addressed. From that point on, the doctors, nurses, and staff became like family to both of us. I can't begin to express enough just how much I appreciate each and every one of you for the excellent care Larry has received and for the love and concern all of you have towards myself and Larry's family. Everyone has gone "over and above" to make sure Larry had the best possible care and that all his needs were met. When I left each day to go home, I would have peace of mind that he would be well taken care of and that means the world to me. I am so thankful that we chose Kindred for Larry's healthcare, I know I wouldn't have him here today if he would have been placed anywhere else. The doctors involved are all amazing, they worked so well together to turn a negative situation into a positive and I will be forever grateful to each and every one of them for working so hard to save his life. We encountered so many obstacles along our journey through these past 3 months but someway, somehow, we got over each hurdle and Larry is moving in the right direction. The nurses are my heroes, the wonderful care they gave Larry and the friendships I developed with them overtime is so precious to me. I can't thank them enough for all the kindness they have shown our family. The staff is like none I've ever encountered. They are simply "awesome" from the top down to housekeeping; they showed such compassion, care and concern, all of you have become family to Larry and I. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you all have done for us. We felt like we had a huge support system and many cheerleaders cheering on his progress. As we close this chapter of our lives ad begin a new journey, I want all of you to know I couldn't have done it without you, I feel we all walked this road together. Kindred Hospital is a wonderful facility, your motto of Hope, Healing, and Recovery is exactly what we received and Larry and I are living proof of that. Many, Many Thanks - Vicky Green

My brother, Willie, passes while at Kindred Hospital. We the family were permitted one last visit before removing him from his room. Though grieving, we could not help but notice as we entered that a fresh clean bed awaited us and Willie had been cleaned and made more than presentable for our visit. A tray of pastries, coffee and other beverages were made available for us and on more than one of the emotional exchanges, tears were exchanged as well. We were amazed at what lengths Kindred Hospital and the staff, in particular, were willing to go in order to accommodate us during a very trying time. We thank you for the exceptional care he received leading up to that moment and for the valiant, successful effort at assisting us at this challenging hour. Special acknowledgement a are extended to Dr. Ashfaq, attending physician, Nurse Susie DeFrancesco, and Lee Ann Dernovsek, Chief Clinical Officer for fielding such a splendid team. The assistance rendered during his stay at your facility will go a long way towards ministering to us during the moments when we can smile.

I came to Kindred because I had a very serious infection in a wound as well as other health issues. I was in a life threatening, life ending situation. The overall care is just outstanding and my nurses and aides are fantastic. I came here on March 25,2015 and I cannot say enough good things about this place. My wound care is outstanding. Here we are, one month later, and my doctor told me that he was astonished at the improvement of my wound. I am feeling better as well as sleeping better. I am a fighter and I will continue to fight this for as long as I can. We still have a ways to go with my wound, but I am confident it will be resolved as long as I can stay at Kindred. In my opinion, Kindred saved my life and I am happy to be here. In my case, I could not ask for anything better.
