Always kind and understanding. Never made me feel uncomfortable about my weight which is always a trigger for me. They are just so kind and helpful with everything that I need or any questions that I have.

The GUIDANCE has been invaluable to me during this journey. Was impressed with the level of thoroughness when considering this, including both mental capacity and nutrition. As with all, it comes down to people, staff in the Fairfield office [CHRISTINA and LYILING] were both attentive and accomodating. Their professionalism permitted me to focus on the procedure. Dr. Sehkar was very personable and approachable, having read patient comments - I felt assured but it was his patient care that validated his reputation. I so appreciate the overall treatment I received from NYBG, Stamford Hospital and the associated referrals. I feel invorgorated post surgery [1 week], having already lost 20lbs. Thus, well on my way towards optimal health. It's imperative to stay the course and remain committed to the nutritional/physical regiment to create/sustain healthy habits. I share this for those who remain on the fence if Gastric Sleeve is viable. I am proud of my decision and look to maximize this corrective physical measure for my health. I sincerely believe a new and improved ME will emerge, something that will benefit my family!

Staff is top notch. Friendly, discreet, professional. Dr. Sommer was very honest with what to expect as I prepared for my new way of living. It has been almost four months since my procedure / 9 months since I started this process and it is the best decision I have made. Even now I still feel I have the support I need to be able to continue with my new life.

The staff are all excellent and very helpful with all my needs and questions I have. Any problem I have they are there to help and make me feel comfortable and secure. Love it here. Dr. Sommers is absolutely amazing and I would recommend going to him to anyone. Very kind, smart and knowledgeable.

Dr. Sommer is amazing and always makes me feel comfortable when I see him. The staff is exceptional as well. They always greet me with a smile and ask me how I am feeling. Such a wonderful experience everytime I come to the practice.
