Overall experience exceeded my expectations. The nurses for prep and recovery were great. Dr. McGowan was thorough in finding a couple of small polyps that he removed and was surprised that was still done quickly. I left the facility before my scheduled procedure time.

The doctor as well as the nursing staff were amazing. The check in staff were rude. And the anesthesiologist was amazing.

The process for scheduling, communicating information, admission ,etc. was well organized. Easy to reschedule as needed. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and kind except the nurse that came to get me from the waiting room (blonde). She was just very matter of fact and quite blunt (NO) when I asked if it was to late to receive Tylenol for a headache. Did not see her again. May have been having a bad day or irritated over somethings else. All other staff were very kind and customer focused on making me feel comfortable. I am hearing impaired , so they made sure I could hear and understand the routine questions (after removal of hearing aids) before the procedure. The Cary, NC facility setup was excellent. Would recommend Dr. McGowan if its time for your colonoscopy.
