Dr. Chandler is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist. Originally from Arkansas, she earned a Bachelor’s of Science from Butler University double majoring in Chemistry and Dance and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a three-year comprehensive surgical residency at the University of Florida/Shands Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, serving as Chief Resident during her final year. Following residency, she completed a reconstructive foot and ankle surgical fellowship in Los Angeles, which is one of a few such fellowships recognized by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Her emphasis on sports and dance medicine, arthritis prevention, foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, and trauma care stems from an active personal life. Formally trained in classical ballet prior to medical school, she is still active in ballet, in addition to yoga, running and bicycling.
