Helping clients, whether we meet individually or in groups, is my highest priority. As a compassionate active listener, I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental space for adolescents, adults, and families.
Our close relationships within our lives can give us strength but can also create conflict, anxiety, and/or depression. The result may be physical discomfort, low self-esteem, even PTSD, as well as thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that can get in the way of making positive decisions. Working as a team, my clients and I identify behavioral patterns, set goals, and begin a plan to achieve resolution and healing.
Applying the techniques I have been trained in such as mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma focused cognitive therapy, narrative therapy, and the internal family systems model, clients will begin the process of reconciling the past and experiencing an improved quality of life in the present.
Feedback I have received from clients emphasizes that I am able to use a variety of effective tools that increase well being in daily functioning. It will be my honor to support you on your journey.
