I founded Healing Therapies, a massage therapy business, with a strong passion for helping people reconnect their mind, body, and spirit. I believe that massage enhances the ability of the body to heal itself and increases self-awareness so you can achieve a healthier you. I have been a full-time practicing massage therapist since 2003.
I am trained in advanced therapies with over 850 hours of training from The Lauterstein–Conway Massage School and other continuing education workshops. I have been trained in Swedish Massage, Deep Massage, Structural Bodywork, Advanced Myofacial Techniques, Sports Massage, Hydrotherapy, Shiatsu, Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage, Reiki, Reflexology, and Lypossage. I have over 5000 hours and 4000 services in a spa environment. I am fascinated with human anatomy and physiology and my knowledge in this area brings an expertise to my bodywork. Through massage, I have discovered the importance of touch in healing and everyday life.
Before starting my massage career, I received a B.A. Anthropology degree from Texas A&M in 2000. My husband and I spent two years after college serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in South America. Having traveled extensively and lived abroad, I believe in compassion, acceptance, and inclusion of all people and values diversity and multiculturalism.
