Jennifer Mansur

After seventeen years of working in the Western medical field, including ten years as an emergency medical technician, Jennifer Mansur, L.Ac., discovered acupuncture while attempting to overcome chronic pain caused by an autoimmune disorder. Western medicine eased the pain, but the relief often came with too many ill side-effects. When Jennifer tried acupuncture, her whole world changed. She could not believe the difference it made.

The experience caused Jennifer to switch her career focus from Western to Eastern medicine. She received her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Degree from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in 2002. During the last year of training, Jennifer interned at the Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, Chengdu, China; St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico; and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I have been treatment patients for 12 years. I have three children, 10 boy/girl twins and very special bonus 7 year old boy.. I have not been treated for my lupus for 10 years with western medicine. Most time the time don't even tell doctors I have it.
