Maria Johnson Narveson

Hi! My name is Maria Johnson Narveson, L.Ac., M.Om. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and the owner of Point of Renewal Acupuncture located in Rice Lake, WI.

After recovering from a car accident, I was introduced to the whole world of natural medicine. Over the past 20 years, I have researched and found the key elements that will help all of you achieve a new level of health and wellbeing both physically and emotionally. Through my experiences, personally and in various clinics and hospital settings, I have been so blessed to see the healing that these various disciplines can offer.

I am a licensed Acupuncturist with a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. I also have a Bachelors Degree in International Business and Marketing from Minnesota State University at Mankato. I have worked at the Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center on the East and West Banks, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (previously known as Courage Center), Edith Davis Teaching Clinic, Northwestern Health Sciences Burnsville Clinic and University Health Services.

Originally I grew up in Holcombe, WI and I later graduated from Eau Claire North High School. I am married with two energetic and wonderful children. My family and I are excited to become an active part of the Rice Lake Community.
