Ms. Williams began her study of medicine while working at the Veterans Hospital in Durham, North Carolina where she managed the Dermatology and Endocrinology clinics in a partnership with Duke University School of Medicine.
In 2008, Jennifer completed a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) program and earned a Masters degree at the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences in the California San Francisco Bay area.
During her training, she completed an internship at the Huaihua Red Cross Hospital in the Hunan province of China. She completed her clinical internship in the San Francisco Bay area of California before moving to North Carolina.
Jennifer’s current doctoral work in Counseling Studies focuses on life coaching, insomnia, depression, addictive behaviors, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Jennifer is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed by both the North Carolina State Board and Virginia State Board of Medicine to practice Acupuncture. Her focus includes internal medical disorders, infertility, weight loss, repetitive stress injuries, pain, stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
