• Theories of addiction
• Current area substance abuse trends
• What new substances are being abused
• Recognizing the effects of new drugs of abuse
• Resources for identifying new drugs of abuse

Robert E. Martin, J.D., CEAP, received his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Human Services from SUNY-Empire State College. He has over 19 years of substance abuse treatment experience. Bob is a certified Employee Assistance Professional and has spoken at the EAPA national conferences. He has worked for various community substance abuse programs, most recently serving as Program Director for CMC-Mercy Horizons for the past 14 years.
