Office staff is friendly but seem like they walk on eggshells around the doctor. A test was scheduled and I was told the wrong day it was scheduled. The Dr did not look at my record or my vitals before seeing me. I was running a fever and it was never addressed. I was seen quickly but Dr seemed very rude, even to his own staff. Would not recommend seeing him.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but the doctor was arrogant. It was my first visit there, as I was referred there by my regular doctor. I had never been to an ENT and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Shah had his back to me when I entered the room and didn't bother to turn around or greet me, let alone introduce himself. He used gestures to indicate I should sit in a particular chair. He then turned around and looked into my ears. He produced a bottle of something (no explanation) and squirted it up my nose and seemed exasperated that I didn't inhale it quickly enough. His assistant told me what was expected of me so I complied. Next, he walked out of the room! No word, nothing. The assistant told me I was meant to follow the doctor. I went with him to another room, where once more, with gesture only, he commanded me to sit in a chair. With NOT A WORD he inserted a tubed instrument into my nostril and down my throat. I was mortified! It was scary and completely unexpected. When I started to gag, he finally spoke. He said "relax." Yeah, right. He then motioned me again (I was feeling a bit like his dog at this point) to follow him into the first examining room where he told the assistance what to write in my report. He DID answer me when I asked him directly to explain. Overall, his manner was excruciatingly arrogant and smug. When I left there, I felt like I had been assaulted.
