Dr. Peter DeFranco attended University Of Alabama In Birmingham where in 1981, he received a bachelor of Science degree. He then graduated from National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, where he received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. DeFranco constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of chiropractic. He has completed extensive post-graduate studies in a variety of areas including rehabilitation, whiplash and cervical trauma, manipulation under anesthesia, low back conditions, headaches, soft tissue injury, and chiropractic orthopedics.

I went to visit Dr. DeFranco’s office with low back pain so bad I could not even walk or stand except with a cane. Medication and shots were not working. Was told by my medical doctor I needed back surgery. So after months of pain and before I decided to go under the knife I was going to give chiropractic a try. He was honest, and told me back had a lot of degeneration in my lumbar spine but wanted to some other non-surgery approaches. Glad I did, cause in a few short weeks I was walking without a cane and back to enjoying a life without hurting all the time. Good back doctor and kind staff.
