We focus on finding and correcting the CAUSE of your problem. Pain is merely an alarm that the body turns on as a last ditch effort to let you know that something is wrong. You don't feel it when an artery begins to clog. The chest pain only shows up when the artery is dangerously clogged. Pain killing medications and anti-inflammitory medications only makes sense on a short term basis. They can help ease the pain(the alarm) while the CAUSE of the problem is corrected allowing the alarm to turn off naturally and making the drugs unnecessary. Long term use of medications only allows the CAUSE of the pain to become more advanced while increasing the chances of dangerous side affects. Its like turning off the smoke alarm in your home but never checking for a fire!

Many years ago, I went to Dr. Jim. He helped me overcome a pulled quad and also a pinched nerve in my neck. Within days, he had me feeling relief! (For the pinched nerve in the neck, the orthopedic doc had me drugged up for 3 weeks trying to get rid of the pain…as for the quad injury, the orthopedic had me on crutches for over a week before I decided to try chiropractic) After going to a couple different chiropractors over the last 10 years (due to insurance), I decided that I needed to return to Dr. Jim, because he always got results. I take advantage of his "family plan" payments which actually bring my costs down to about $17 a visit (I go generally 3 times a week). They do take insurance, I just have such a high deductible, that this works out better for me.
Dr. Jim doesn't do the "crack" your neck techniques that were done in the past. He utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and finds your hot spots that need TLC. I trust his care and really do feel much better after getting an adjustment.
My theory is you can either continue to use ibuprofen and other pain meds to mask your pain (causing liver damage in the long run!), or you can get adjustments and help your body to heal itself. Make the choice to get helped by Dr. Jim and you will be much better for that decision!
