My background is in the study of how the body responds to our movement and the foods we eat (and drink) with and without health complications related to this (obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, IBS, for example). My goal is to assist you in making changes to better support and improve your health.
The field of nutrition is ever evolving due to changes in our food source as well as newer research related to nutrition. Being a lifelong learner, this makes what I do so very interesting...I continue to expand my knowledge in the area of Integrative & Functional Nutrition which looks deeper, to the root cause of health concerns and addressing them. My approach is very much holistic in that we will discuss practices and habits that impact your exercise and eating patterns and behaviors.
