Services Osteopathic analysis and gentle, effective techniques Uses the inter-connections of your body for treatment Discovers the cause of your symptoms Fast resolution of your injuries Expert problem-solving of your complex, chronic issues Effective alternative to other types of treatment Extensive advanced training 19 Years of experience Caring, attentive approach Muscle Energy Technique helps us find where your spine, ribs and pelvis have specific restrictions. Once the exact problem is found, Muscle Energy uses gentle positions and muscle contraction to restore joint motion. It was first developed by Fred Mitchell, Sr, DO. Strain Counterstrain finds tender points associated with particular joints in your spine, skull, pelvis, and extremities. Careful positioning “turns off” the tender point, which is held for 90 seconds, restoring motion to that joint. People are often surprised at the location of these points and how they can be released so gently. Strain Counterstrain was developed by Lawrence Jones, DO. Myofascial Release allows us to treat shortened and tight muscles and fascia. Fascia is the network of fibrous tissue that connects and supports all the parts of the body. Myofascial release frees places where nerves and blood vessels get stuck, which helps with circulation and neurological control. It also helps with the ease of movement. Cranial Techiques: The skull is not solid, but made of 22 bones, all of which move slightly. Cranial techniques address restrictions between these bones to improve the circulation and nerve function of this “control center of the body.” Cranial techniques were first developed by William Sutherland, D.O. Visceral Techiques: Viscera means organ. Through nerve reflexes, the bones and muscles can affect the internal organs and the organs can affect the muscles and joints. Two systems of reflex techniques we use are Chapman’s Reflexes which affect the lympathic drainage of organs and Bennett Reflexes, which affect the blood flow to organs. We also look at how the organs move in their support tissue, or fascia.

Tim does absolutely amazing job. My husband injured his lower back twice within 12 months due to being overweight and working on the computer for long hours everyday. The pulled muscles caused so much pain that he could not get out of bed for days. We tried other manual therapists and acupuncturist, nobody made any difference. But he felt significant improvement each time after seeing Tim. It was unbelievable to see him WALKING out of Tim's office just after the first visit.
My husband had serious shoulder pain several years ago. Several doctors told him that he had to do surgery. But Tim fixed it within 3 visits.
I had shoulder injury from skiing. It took me seven years to decide to do something about it since I could not sleep on my left side. I felt 80% recovered after seeing Tim for several times.
Tim is truely a very gifted healer.

Tim's office is near the Crest Theatre. Tim himself is a great person. He has helped me so much with many back, neck and shoulder issues over the last few years. I have fibromyalgia, and by seeing him on a regular basis, I have way less pain than I used to. He is gentle. friendly, and just one of those rare, gifted healers.
