Before I made the appointment asked the secretary if she could verify the benefits and said that she'll do it on the day of the appt. Well when I got there I arrived 10 mins early and even filled out the paperwork on their website and still didn't get called in until 35 mins later due to the fact that the secretary just happened to notice that my insurance is under my father's name and need his SS number. The problem is that both my parents work and are not available during the day, if she would have mentioned that to me when I kindly asked her to look over the benefits before, she could have avoided that delay, but no she didn't. On top of that she didn't want to call the insurance to find out the info.Thank goodness my father answered my call and gave it to me and when I gave her the number she still couldn't get it and then called the insurance stating that she couldn't call them before. Just so happens the id number was the id on my medical insurance card, now what I don't understand is that if you are the secretary taking care of all of the insurances you would have known that right? Well when I saw the doctor, I wanted to leave. He is unkempt and doesn't look that professional. I only saw him for 10 mins and that was it. I regret coming here, I waited longer in the waiting room than the time I spent with him. I had to tell him that I had an eye condition in order for him to actually attempt to make a thorough exam, but still didn't make a difference. Do not come here at all. If you have eye problems or conditions go to someone with the latest technology and knowledge. This place lacks that by all means, starting from the receptionist to the doctor.
