I have experienced long waiting times for bad and expensive services. The owners of Janet Refoa, DDS are obviously the "receptionist" Hilda with her husband who runs the business from a back-room office. I came to realize that this establishment is not good for your health...

Over my three years as a patient I spent $17,000 out of pocket and my insurance company paid as much or more. She advertises pain free dentistry but is unable to give an injection to properly numb the area for the extensive procedures she always claims are necessary. I have been stuck as many as 15 times on three different visits. Why did I go back? She always has something in process that requires more visits even after she says there is only one more visit needed. I have spent as much as six hours in the chair in one visit. I would leave there a shaking mess. The crowns she insisted I needed (at $950 each) would not stay in and fell out on a regular basis. When I complained she said it was my fault. She is a quack and a charleton. Never go to her unless you want to be tortured and pay thousands of dollars for it.
