Referred to him by general dentist after unsuccesful root canal. Original dentist claimed Lacoste is the "best". I've found him to be Arrogant, egotistical and uncaring. His Daughter did a retreatment of a root canal THROUGH a crown. Multiple visits with him and her over the course of two years, problem persists. I am not confident in his ability to diagnosis even after repeat visits, and the same complaints of the same pain. He's like a mechanic that diagnosis through process of elimination and along the course expects payments even if the "fix" he suggests does not solve the problem. Now blaming me for my "bone structure", saying its not his fault and its not the original dentist's fault. Claimed he would not "arugue" with me even though I remained even-toned and calm as I tried to discuss the issues with him and tried to get an understanding of why I was being charged, out of pocket, (insurance cap met)for another procedure for the same problem. He curtly informed me that he wouldn't do the next procedure for less than $XXX ($100 less than his original quote and after I have already spent thousands on the same tooth/root canal and crown) I asked him why, if the root canal and retreatment was suppose to kill the nerve, it was the same tooth (which he confirmed) still in pain 2 years later, after 2 procedures, same and many subsequent multiple visits, all with the same complaint of pain? He said I would not get anywhere with him he then offered to do another procedure that day. I left in pain and in tears. I will NEVER go back!
