My sessions with Audrey Jung started out very well. I suspect I am not the easiest client to work with. After several month with Ms. Jung I had a very bad situational reaction to something that happened in my family. I called and cancelled my next appt. with Ms. Jung....I had sequestered myself in bed for 3 straight days. Ms. Jung did call and talked to me a bit. I told her I felt like I was a lost cause, she asked me to reconsider my thoughts and come in to her office (At the time I had 2 remaining scheduled appointments.). The following day I called Ms. Jung, being unable to reach her left a message thanking her for calling and that I would consider what she had said. I decided to go to my next scheduled appointment, but when I arrived I was very coldly notified by the receptionist that they had made the choice to cancel my remaining appointments. I was crushed! I ran out of the office and sat in my car sobbing for half an hour until I could calm down enough to drive. I felt like I had broken some big counselling rule that everyone but me knew. Ms. Jung's office did not reach out to me in any form to notify me of the cancellation of my appointments. I do understand that some of this situation was due to my baggage but isn't that why we go to a counselor? I also believe I was a victim of some of Ms. Jung's baggage. I will not return and I will not recommend Ms. Jung to anyone.

Audrey was one of the first counselors that we've seen in a long time that made us feel at home. I didn't feel like she passed judgment on me or my circumstances. People seem to find it difficult to understand me but she got me right away. Audrey was able to articulate everything that I was trying to say. She specializes in working with deaf, hard of hearing and patients who use sign language. Therefore, she recommended one of her colleagues who specializes in the things that I need assistance in. If this counselor is anything like Audrey I feel like I can't go wrong!
They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. When I arrived for my appointment the friendly staff seemed to be waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional.
