We went to Klarich for couple and individual counseling and regreted it after only a couple sessions. If you pay w/ a credit card, Klarich will have you sign something that she can then charge any future charges on that card. We were not aware of this until my husband accidently missed an appointment. (And there are no friendly appointment reminder calls or anything.) So Klarich calls my husband and he apologizes for missing the appointment and 10 minutes later there is charge on our bank card. Klarich didn't mention it on the phone or give us notice. When we contacted Klarich about this, she was unconcerned and said well you signed an agreement. I explained that I wasn't aware that we agreed to that and that I thought it was bad business to charge us like that. We had not missed an appointment before EXCEPT when we called to cancel an appointment and she didn't return our call within the period required for cancelations. I also told her that it was an issue because she knew one of the reasons that we were in counceling was because of financial problems. A counselor is supposed to help you with your issues, not make them worse. We could barely afford the sessions we actually had. Klarich didn't care and was only defensive. Explaining that she was a small business and blah, blah. It was obvious that she only cared for her business and not for her clients or retaining her clients. Klarich never offered to refund the money. After much distress, she did offer to give the next session free. BUT who in the world would want to continue counceling under these circumstances?! We had lost all trust and she didn't think that she ever had our best interests at heart. I wish we had known earlier and we never wasted our time and money.
