Throughout our lives we experience loss. Whether we find ourself no longer in a relationship or are facing a career change we may become anxious, depressed, and perhaps angry. There are multiple types of loss: financial, love, death, adoption. Loss and its impact, without resolution, can many times deny us the opportunity for true happiness in our lives. With the pace at which our lives change, allowing ourselves to even identify the loss that is inherent with change is seldom acknowledged. When we chose to address our loss and grief we can then begin to live richer lives.
I work with individuals facing grief and loss issues, as well as with children and adults dealing with stressful family dynamics, life transitions and role changes. My expertise extends to transitional loss, grief issues, self growth / discovery, family dynamics, crime victim recovery, and artistic techniques used in the healing process.
Clients describe my presence as warm, sincere, collaborative, inviting and non-judgemental. I have a broad knowledge of our community resources, which may be beneficial for some clients and their family members.
