Dr wolff implanted my first and second pacemaker 15.5 years ago...I started having problems with dissieness this past March..Many test done and finally a 30 day heart monitoring device was worn and several eppisodes showed..The dr's techs could not duplicate with me and a medtronics engineer was called in...She found when I raised my left armto a point the wire bundle was touching my left clavical and causing a disruption of pacining on the monitoring machine..My cardio agreed I ad a wiring problem..He did the surgery the next day and was able to use the same vein you did..the second pace maker is still in place with 5.5 years remaining...I feel good and no dissies yet...
Question???Would 15.5 years of a car seat belt caused the deteriation of the wire??? I,m a 6 footer and the belt crosses on top of the pacer and wires...

They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. His office is not conveniently located.
