Dr. Mark Wolozin is a graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and obtained his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in Cardiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Prior to joining the Georgia Heart Institute he served as a Clinical and Research Fellow in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Mark is an excellent physician with a fantastic dry humor. He's a Yankee and for a while you'll only see that Boston stoicism but don't let it put you off. He literally saved my life because he knew to look for an obscure genetic defect and referred me to a cardiac surgeon just in time. Seneca is his RN and Right Hand. Be nice to her she is a tenured professional and an invaluable asset to both the patient and Dr. Wolozin.
