Dr. Abrar is the very best doctor I've ever seen. I've been going to him now for almost five years. His medical receptionist / office manager Antoaneta (Toni) is also terrific. She's a hard worker, polite, professional, and is not typical of what you usually find in most physicians’ offices (i.e., the office staff in many doctor's offices are sometimes borderline rude and may even feel a bit self-important – if you know what I mean -- as if they went to medical school themselves). Some doctor offices even act as if they're doing you a favor by talking to you; however, Dr. Abrar is one of the few doctors that has not joined the giant corporate medical conglomerates that most medical practices seem to have joined nowadays. Dr. Abrar is old school. The way doctors have performed for decades. I've talked to Dr. Abrar about this. He prefers to keep his practice his and not become a corporate employee. This allows him to take the time to talk to you. I trust him implicitly in treating my medical conditions. I can't say enough positive things about him and Toni. He truly is the best doctor I have ever seen. And don’t let that sometimes slightly gruff exterior fool you. He’s got a heart of gold. He cares about his patients. And if you ask other long-time patients how they like Dr. Abrar (as they leave Dr. Abrar’s office and walk past you in the parking lot), you'll hear phrases like "I love Dr. Abrar" or "...the best doctor ever." You'll hear these comments from long-time patients because they're absolutely true.

Although Dr. Abrar gives the impression of being a soft spoken physician, he can ultimately be very stubborn. He doesn't like to change a diagnosis or admit when his diagnosis may be wrong. I don't think he's a bad doctor. He's just reluctant to admit that the medications he prescribes may be causing negative side effects. While many patients will not experience negative side effects, a certain percentage of patients will. Unfortunately, he thinks these complaints are more or less "imaginary".
