I won't refer to her as a Doctor, she made sure that I lost my baby girl in 1992 when she "practiced" in Pennsylvania as an ob. After begging all day to be seen because I thought there was something wrong, I was told to go to the hospital and a sonogram was performed. I was told that everything was fine and sent home, in reality I was dilated and my bag of water was bulging through my open cervix. As soon as I got home (45 minutes from the hospital) my water broke. I was 21 weeks pregnant and we raced back to the hospital and another sonogram showed that my baby girl was still alive, I was induced and then left completely alone until I delivered my daughter into the toilet, I screamed for a nurse who came in and left because she said there were no umbilical clamps in the labor and delivery room that I was in. End result was that my baby died, in the aftermath a nurse who worked at Meadville Medical Center, (the hospital) told my Mom that McGuire had told the nurses that if any of them told me what was actually happening the first time I was at the hospital that day that she would see to it that they would be fired!!! Who the hell does something like that? I tried to sue the bitch but by legal definition my baby wasn't old enough to be considered viable and she knew this, so when the Bureau of Professional and Occupational affairs started an investigation, she fled the state because she knew that would make them drop the case. My daughter Alisha would be 21 on August 11th of this year and the pain is almost as bad as the day it happened, I only wish that she would tell me what was it about me that she chose to treat me and my baby the way that she did. She was working at the Conneaut Valley Health Center at the time that she did this. I couldn't get justice or closure for my baby but I pray that God will.

I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. Everything I told them seemed to go in one ear and out the other. I didn't feel like they cared about what I had to say at all. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list.
