As a previous review states that all the poor reviews are drug seeking / addict behavior, I am not a drug seeker, addict, or even a patient of the dr. I am a family member however who was verbally abused, yelled at, and treated like a subhuman by the doctor due to the actions of a patient that were out of my control. His insensitive, downright childish tantrum he unleashed on me over the phone was some of the most ridiculous unprofessional behavior I have been witness to in my adult life. If he treats his patients this way, I surprised he is still in practice unless they are all masochists.

I've read all the bashing reviews out there, they tend to come from drug addicts who didn't get what they wanted so they take to the internet to bash a wonderful, caring Dr. I switched from Methadone to Subutex in early December '15. His staff treated me like family, they called to check on me daily, I didn't experience ANY precipitated withdraws due to the long lasting effect of Methadone. I waited 48 hours after my last dose of 20mg's (was up to 100mg 15 months ago) went to his office at 8am in COMPLETE withdraw, I was told to take 2 mgs of subutex every 2 hours for the first 2 days. Had I NOT followed Docs orders, and took a 4mg or 8mg pilll I would have been in full blown withdraw. Instead, it was rather painless and now I have an extra $200 per month in my pocket because I don't have to pay $15 a day for a dose of methadone.
Is Doc bold, truthful and compassionate? ABSOLUTELY, because he wants his suboxone patients to be SUCCESSFUL!!!!! IF you looking for a doctor to see every 30 months just to get your script of suboxone or subutex than THIS IS NOT YOUR MAN. He is strict, he does give you a hard time if you didn't attend meetings or do exactly as he instructs you to do. It's all for the better good, it's to help YOU become SOBER and STAY sober. Great doc, I hate to see all the bashing online from street pedaling drug addicts.
