They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me.

I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and make me my six month appointment. Dr. Schaffert is a skilled Dr. and seems to have my health as his main interest. He recommends various meds to see if they work well and will listen to my concerns when I tell him I am having little episodes. However, I am an employed individual with epilepsy and somewhat of an overachiever. I want to continue to work and get the most out of my life despite of my having seizures. I feel this doctor is a bit "old school" with his thinking so I must warn you... if you are a doer.. a dreamer.. someone who loves to jet-ski, go for that high-paying job, back-pack through Europe, bungee jump... etc. This may not be your doc. or you may want to simply not disclose as much to him. I sometimes feel like I am walking on egg shells and am worried my livelihood could be taken away at a moments notice.
