I had a breast reduction by Dr Gallaher 5 years ago. Everything went great as far as I could tell. After my surgery I went to all my follow up appointments. After about 6 months after surgery I noticed that my left breast was much smaller than my right breast. I mentioned it to him during my visit and he just said it would even out after time. I believed him because he was my doctor. So at my one year appointment I showed him and expressed my concern about the difference in size. He once again told me it would be ok and I believed him. It now has been over 5 years and my left breast is so much smaller than my right one. It is at least an entire cup size smaller if not more. It is very noticable. I do not wear bathing suits anymore or any type of form fitting shirt because people have actually pointed it out to me it is so noticable. I am very emberrased and very much upset. I feel like I wasnt listened to or taken seriously. I gave up after my year was up because if I was to have it fixed my insurance would not pay for it becasue it would be considered cosmetic. I feel like it should have been fixed when it happend. I am dissapointed in how I was treated during my last 2 follow up appointments. I am currently trying to save money to have my breast fixed. I tell you that once I get the money saved up for this surgery I will not be going back to Dr Gallaher to have it done. I feel he should have done it to begin with when he seen it, especially after a year. I am not on here to try to make him look bad but I feel that others should know. Maybe I was just that one person that it happend to but I feel like I should have been heard and not taken for granted.
