After seeing Dr. Severin for a recurring eye infection, I left with no diagnosis but a prescription for a medicine that I purchased and took. He did not dilate my eyes or check my lens prescription to rule out all possible causes. When asked why a complete eye exam was not part of the initial visit, Debra, the office manager stated that Dr. Severin refers patients to another doctor in his office for eye exams. Yes, that's correct - two visits, two insurance claims, two co-pays = more $$$ for the doctor and more inconvenience for the patient. Find an ophthalmologist who cares about your eyes more than your wallet as I intend to do.

Dr Severin only spend 5 minutes talking to me out of the 1.5-2 hours I waited there. He barely asked me any questions. I found another doctor that was extremely attentive and thorough and did not make me wait excessively, like Dr Severin did.
