As an educator, I'm held accountable for my actions. Response to communication from parents is held to a 24 hour window. I have patiently waited for over a month for someone to remedy a specific situation with me, related to a scheduled colonoscopy with Dr. Grasso that was confirmed by the hospital and that I showed up over an hour early for. I was told by the hospital (after fasting and taking all laxatives) that Dr. Grasso had cancelled the procedure. No one from the office called to tell me this. No from the office responded to my calls and messages. No one responded to the certified letter I sent. No one responded to the regular mail I sent. Where is the accountability and supposed care for patient rights to basic communication? I was under Dr. Grasso's care, went through a process that took a serious toll on my little body, and no one ever did anything to remedy this situation, much less acknowledge that a mistake was made. I'm not one to 'air things in public', but all private attempts have been ignored. Something for future patients to keep in mind before scheduling with this office or doctor.
Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. One thing that's been so annoying about Francesco Grasso, MD, is that they always end up postponing my appointments. I'm usually not even notified that they're going to postpone it until less than an hour before my scheduled appointment. I wasn't greeted at all when I entered their office. I could tell they noticed I walked in, but they still didn't acknowledge me.
